Patrols available on short notice
All standard patrols include a 4-hour arrival window. Patrols will randomly start within this range, in accordance with a target time you set during scheduling.
When you schedule your patrols, you'll set a "target time" for each one. Your selection determines the arrival window for that patrol.
The standard 4-hour arrival window, included at no cost, offers the greatest security for your site. However, if you're willing to sacrifice some security for greater scheduling precision, you can choose to upgrade to 2 or 1-hour arrival windows.
Mobile patrols are most effective when they're randomized. Potential bad actors can be highly watchful; if they're able to identify an obvious pattern in your security, they can plan their activities accordingly to avoid getting caught. Randomizing patrols with larger arrival windows provides better security.
We recognize that randomization doesn't fit all use cases. That's why we offer the option to upgrade to smaller windows — by giving up some security to get greater scheduling precision, you can ensure a security presence is on-site during sensitive periods, such as opening/closing hours, cash-handling operations, receiving shipments, and so on.

All emergency patrols include an upgraded 1-hour arrival window, plus twice the standard duration at no extra cost (20-40 minutes). Visit our pricing page to get more information.
