Reno, Nevada — Civil Security Service (NVCSS), a Reno-based private security agency, has been awarded a Tier 1 certification as a Local Emerging Small Business (ESB) by the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED).

Created in 2014, Nevada’s ESB program encourages the growth of small businesses by increasing their visibility and competitiveness in contracting opportunities. With this certification, Civil Security Service becomes the only specialized private patrol agency in Reno to hold the distinction.

As a certified Tier 1 Emerging Small Business, Civil Security Service is now eligible for enhanced access to government contracting opportunities, with many state and local agencies prioritizing ESB participation in the bidding process.
